Backstage Reaction To WWE WrestleMania 39 Ticket Sales Revealed

WrestleMania 39 tickets have been available for several weeks now, and a recent report suggests that WWE is quite happy with how sales have gone.

Tickets for WWE WrestleMania 39 have been available since August 12, and a recent backstage report indicates that the higher-ups in the company are pretty pleased with the sales figures so far. The Showcase Of The Immortals is going Hollywood, with both nights of the event taking place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Taking place on April 1 and April 2, this will be the first Triple H-lead WrestleMania.

Fans won’t know what to expect on the card until the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 39, but WWE always pulls out the most significant stops at the Show of Shows. It’s a spectacle unlike anything in the business, and anywhere from 70,000 to more than 100,000 people could be in attendance come April. Currently, WrestleMania 32 holds the record for the largest audience in WWE history, as it was announced that 101,763 humans attended that show. That number is disputed, but there were a ton of people at WrestleMania 32, no matter how it’s sliced. WrestleMania 39 could end up flirting with that number, if not surpassing it entirely.

That’s an absurd amount of wrestling fans in one place at one time, and early returns for WrestleMania 39 ticket sales are outstanding. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com has reported the following: “A number of sources have stated that WWE is ecstatic with the early ticket sales for WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, especially for Night Two.” Johnson also noted that the SmackDown before WM39 and the Raw after would be taking place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Triple H’s First WrestleMania Should Be Massive

This will be the first WrestleMania where Triple H is in charge of the booking. It’s strange to think about Vince McMahon not taking part in any of the proceedings, but he’ll have been gone from WWE for almost three-quarters of a year by April 1. The Game’s fingerprints are already all over Raw and SmackDown, and he even managed to pull a few rabbits out of his hat for the recent SummerSlam premium live event.

Stars such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair have been featured heavily in early advertisements for the event. Those are current household names, but it’ll be interesting to see if any of Triple H’s recent signings or call-ups will be making an impact for WWE by the time WrestleMania 39 rolls around. It’s probably safe to assume Brock Lesnar will be involved in some capacity, given that there are rumblings that he could be back in the fold by early 2023. Cody Rhodes will likely be healthy and involved if there are no setbacks or further injuries.
