Scream drew in audiences when it first premiered in 1996 and has grown into an iconic horror franchise with five movies, not to mention a sixth set to debut on March 10, 2023. Emerald City Comic Con will take place March 2–5, 2023, which will give fans the perfect opportunity to celebrate Scream.
Scream led to a resurgence in the horror genre in the late 90s and helped launch the careers of many young actors. The Scream film franchise has grossed over $740 million worldwide, building an impressive fan base. Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott has been at the center of all five Scream movies, and Skeet Ulrich reprised his role as Billy Loomis in Scream 2022.
