It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Glenn Howerton is imagined as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Reed Richards in new Fantastic Four fan art, allowing him to truly encapsulate Dennis Reynolds’ ‘Golden God’ persona. The casting of the MCU’s Mister Fantastic has been the subject of much speculation and intrigue, and Howerton is one of the names viewers would most like to see play the character. Fantastic Four will finally be entering the MCU in 2025 as part of Phase Six.

Fantastic Four is likely to introduce Doctor Doom to the MCU regardless of whether he will serve as the next saga’s big bad, so it is crucial that Marvel Studios secure the perfect actor to play Mister Fantastic. It is very possible that he will be one of the MCU’s overall leading figures following his introduction; he was part of the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
