Screen Media’s The Ritual Killer arrives in select theaters and On Demand this week, and Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from the film. Starring Yellowstone‘s Cole Hauser and unforgettable screen legend Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption), The Ritual Killer follows a detective on the brink of retirement who teams up with an anthropology professor in order to find a serial killer practicing the ancient magic of Muti.
Aside from its two powerful leads, The Ritual Killer also stars Peter Stormare (Fargo), Murielle Hilaire, Brian Kurlander, Luke Stratte-McClure, and former NFL player Vernon Davis. The mystical thriller was directed by George Gallo (who famously penned the story for Bad Boys), and it plays with the line between reality and madness as Detective Boyd (Hauser) is forced to step inside the mind of the serial killer to hunt him down.
More About The Ritual Killer
In Screen Rant‘s exclusive clip from The Ritual Killer, Detective Boyd is chatting with his partner Detective Maria Kersch (Hilaire), who has some questions for him about a recent arrest gone wrong. Before she can probe too far into how Bord has been handling himself, however, they are called to the scene of a horrific crime. As they looked upon the cut-up body of a young teenage girl, it’s clear that Boyd is ready to do what it takes to stop the monster who committed such an evil act. Audiences will have to catch the full movie to see how Morgan Freeman’s character Professor Mackles comes into play.
As a leading distributor of independent films on a global scale, Screen Media has made a vast number of memorable projects accessible to audiences. Some of their recent releases include The Locksmith starring Ryan Phillippe, and Christmas in the Caribbean with Elizabeth Hurley. The Ritual Killer has a runtime of 92 minutes and is not yet rated.
Screen Media is releasing The Ritual Killer in theaters and On Demand on March 10.
