Who Could Play Superman: Legacy’s Clark Kent?
Pratt himself tried to become Superman once, with the actor revealing in the past that he auditioned for the part in 2006’s Superman Returns, which ultimately went to Brandon Routh. Gunn having worked with Pratt in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy lends credence to DC’s alleged casting parameter for the new Superman. An actor that could give life to a slightly younger Superman, and matches Pratt’s comedic timing and down-to-earth personality, is Zac Efron.
Efron has shown throughout his career that he has the ability to lead a big superhero franchise such as Superman, which is why the actor has been fancast in a number of comic book roles over the years, with Marvel’s Human Torch and Wolverine being the most popular.
