Screen Rant presents an exclusive clip from Vertical Entertainment’s new horror film, Alone at Night, featuring Ashley Benson vs. the Crowbar Killer.
Screen Rant is proud to present an exclusive clip from Alone at Night, a new horror movie from Vertical Entertainment. Set to release in theaters and On Demand Friday, January 20th, the film takes place during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the aftermath of a bad breakup, Vicky retreats to her friend’s remote cabin in the woods where she continues to model for the adult-streaming site, 18 & Over. However, following a series of mysterious power outages, Vicky realizes that the woods aren’t as secluded as she thought.
After hearing rumors of the alleged “Crowbar Killer,” Vicky begins to grow suspicious of the multiple strangers that show up throughout her stay. Alone at Night is directed and co-written by Jimmy Giannopoulos and stars Pretty Little Liars alumni, Ashley Benson. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Jon Foster, Jake Weary, Pamela Anderson, Luis Guzmán, Winnie Harlow, G-Eazy, A$AP Nast, Paris Hilton, John Robinson, Cassius Corrigan, and Sky Ferreira.
More About Alone At Night
In Screen Rant’s exclusive clip from Alone at Night, Vicky is seen riding in the car with two police officers. Deputy Wayne (A$AP Nast) reveals that a girl’s body was recently found not far from their current location. Her gruesome death suggests the work of the “Crowbar Killer,” who targets the people close to their victim before going after the woman herself. Vicky is understandably bothered by this information, and her unease becomes evident to Sheriff Rogers (Pamela Anderson).
She scolds Wayne for frightening her, but Vicky’s worry intensifies when they discover the door to the cabin has been left open. Instructing everyone to stay put, the sheriff enters the house to investigate. Contrastingly, Wayne displays that he isn’t the most courageous police officer by quickly ensuring that the car doors are locked after Rogers exits the vehicle.
Alone at Night is one of several horror films produced by Vertical Entertainment. Michelle Monaghan’s Blood is next in the pipeline with a January 27 release date. Viewers who are looking for a paranormal scare can stream Lullaby from director John R. Leonetti, which was released in select theaters and On Demand in December 2022. The movie centers around a married couple who accidentally summons the demon, Lilith, putting the lives of themselves and their newborn baby at risk. Starring Oona Chaplin and Rámon Rodríguez, Lullaby is a perfect match for fans of The Conjuring and Annabelle.
Alone at Night is available in theaters and On Demand beginning on January 20.
