The Royal Rumble is in the books, and WWE is firmly on the road to WrestleMania 39 now. Here’s a look at all of the matches that are confirmed.

WrestleMania 39 will be here before WWE fans know it, as the Royal Rumble was this past weekend, and Elimination Chamber is only three weeks away. It’s full speed ahead toward the Showcase of the Immortals, and this year’s show will likely be one of the biggest ever. The event has already smashed previous gate records and will probably shatter monetary records as well. Over the last several weeks, WWE has begun to reveal some matches that audiences can—and might—be able to expect at WrestleMania 39.

In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer broke down what the card looks like so far. “For WrestleMania, the locked in matches at this point are Reigns vs. Rhodes for the Universal title, Charlotte Flair vs. Ripley for the Smackdown women’s title, Belair vs. the Chamber winner for the Raw women’s title, John Cena vs. Austin Theory (no word on whether this will or won’t be a U.S. title match) and Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler for the women’s tag team titles.” Meltzer also wrote that there have been “strong teases” for Logan Paul against Seth Rollins, The Usos Vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio. Lastly, he notes that Brood Edge could take on Demon Finn Balor at WrestleMania 39.

WrestleMania 39’s Card Is Shaping Up Wonderfully

Roman Reigns prepares for the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series in 2022.

Considering some of the big names that aren’t in play yet, the WrestleMania 39 card is already looking stellar. Fans have been clamoring for the Reigns Vs. Rhodes match since The American Nightmare made his return at WrestleMania 38. Flair against Ripley could also be a passing-of-the-torch moment, with The Queen giving the future face of the women’s division a significant win on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Bianca Belair might as well be Miss. WrestleMania at this point and the possible match between Seth Rollins and Logan Paul is a potential show stealer on paper.

Some of the top stars in the company don’t have WrestleMania 39 directions yet, either. Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are likely finishing their feud at Elimination Chamber, meaning both men could be free for the Showcase of the Immortals. Drew McIntyre doesn’t have a feud running at the moment. Neither does Sheamus. Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and Gunther also don’t have clear-cut dance partners for the show. That leaves all kinds of exciting possibilities open as Triple H pieces together the first WrestleMania of his booking career.

WrestleMania 39 is set to take place on April 1 and 2 and will air live from Hollywood. It will be available to customers in the United States on the Peacock streaming service and the WWE Network elsewhere. Reigns and Rhodes will likely headline the second night of the event, while Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley or Belair versus the winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber match could main event night one.
