The first trailer for Apple TV+’s Ghosted has been released, showing Chris Evans as Ana de Armas’ damsel in distress. Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher with a script from Chris McKenna, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick, the latter two of whom co-wrote Deadpool and its two sequels. Plot details for the film were previously being kept under wraps, but the movie was confirmed to feature Adrien Brody, Time Blake Nelson, Tate Donovan, and Amy Sedaris in supporting roles.
Now, E! News has shared the first trailer for Ghosted, which teases an action-packed, romantic, and hilarious adventure involving Evans’ unassuming country boy and de Armas’ super spy. Check out the trailer below:
While the first moments of the trailer may suggest that Ghosted is a fairly typical romantic comedy, it quickly becomes apparent that it’s anything but. With De Armas revealing herself to be a CIA operative, Evans’ character finds himself drawn into a world of international espionage, which includes some explosive action set pieces.
