Endgame Directors Still Dragging Tom Holland For Revealing Spoilers 4 Years Later In New TikTok

Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo pokes fun at Tom Holland for his inability to keep spoilers secret in a new TikTok video. It has been four years since the Infinity Saga wrapped up with the 2019 blockbuster. Despite that, it remains to be one of, if not the most-discussed Marvel Cinematic Universe project.

Joe Russo recently joined the Avengers: Endgame discourse by reviving an old joke about Holland being unable to keep specific plot points under the lid. The director took it to AGBO Films’ official TikTok account for this, watch the funny video below:

Joe was likely referring to Iron Man’s death and subsequent funeral service in Avengers: Endgame. The moment was codenamed “The Wedding” to ensure that nobody would figure out what they were filming until they were finally on set.

Tom Holland Has Gotten Better With MCU Spoilers

Holland did have some slips when it comes to keeping MCU spoilers at bay. During the Avengers: Infinity War press tour, he was partnered with Benedict Cumberbatch to ensure that he didn’t say anything that he wasn’t meant to. Currently, he and Mark Ruffalo are known for making these innocent mistakes, but over the years, the Spider-Man actor has actually gotten better about this.

Holland’s ability to keep important plot details about high-profile MCU films has significantly improved during the press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Despite the numerous leaks about the involvement of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, none of it came from their youngest co-star. In fact, Holland was able to expertly dodge tricky questions about their cameos. So while their involvement was long revealed before the film, at least Holland wasn’t to blame for it.

Now, the Russos are not actively working on any MCU project. But thanks to posts like this, it’s clear that they have fond memories of spearheading some of the franchise’s biggest projects, including Avengers: Endgame. Holland, on the other hand, is set to return with Spider-Man 4 and potentially an appearance in the next two Avengers films.
