Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney look into a car trunk in From Dusk Till Dawn

In an interview from the set of From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, Clooney joked he was glad he became an actor, because he didn’t know what else he was going to do, claiming that he ruined everything he touched. He also revealed that he’d slept on the floor of a friend’s closet. Clooney’s definitely had a rough journey toward stardom, finally reaching his big break with From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, which catapulted him toward success and gave him opportunities to star in more feature films.

Before becoming a household name, Clooney appeared in TV shows such as The Facts of Life, Roseanne, Sisters and ER. In the same ET interview, Clooney joked that, while he struggled, he was still working consistently for 12 years. He also joked that, in ER, he had it easy, playing a pediatrician, not having to remember ten-dollar words for the part.

It’s heartwarming to see that Clooney’s bought his humility with him throughout the years, even as his movies have collectively made $3 billion at the box office. While it seems he’s more selective about his roles recently, he’s still on everyone’s radar. With Trejo recently recalling their charming From Dusk ‘Till Dawn reunion, it’d be nice to see them share another.
