A new video for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts reveals a closer look at some of the Maximals in the film. The initial trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts revealed Ron Perlman’s Optimus Primal would be a central character in the film. Flashes of other Maximals were also shown in the trailer during intense action sequences.
Now, the official Transformers Twitter has posted a teaser video showing off a detailed look at the Maximals set to appear in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
The teaser for the film’s upcoming trailer offers a closer look at Cheetor and Optimus Primal, who stand out from the Autobots beside them because of their animal forms. Autobots like Arcee and Optimus Prime are also present, as everyone in the lineup is preparing for battle.
Which Maximals Will Appear In Transformers 7?
Previous promotional material has already confirmed Optimus Primal and Cheetor will appear in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Other Maximals set to appear include peregrine falcon Airazor and Northern white rhino Rhinox. While these four are all that have been shown in trailers, it’s possible others may show up but are being saved for the film itself.
Other original members of the Maximals include the ratlike Rattrap, white Siberian tiger Tigatron, and the winged wolf Silverbolt. While there’s no confirmation if there are more Maximals in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts than who’s been showcased so far, a larger team could make the battles much more intense. It could also open the door for more destructive fights that could cost the heroes a few of their team members.
However, Predacons and Terrorcons will also be making their live-action debuts in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, pointing to a very large cast of Transformers in the film. Because of this, having only a few Maximals might make more sense so there’s not an overwhelming amount of new characters in the movie. The true number of Maximals in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts could become clearer when a new trailer for the film drops tomorrow.
