A few months after the book first hit shelves, Tom Felton’s Harry Potter co-stars Jason Isaacs and Rupert Grint have a jokingly honest review of his memoir. Much like fellow child actors Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, Felton rose to prominence for his role in the franchise adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s fantasy novels centered on the eponymous young wizard and his adventures while attending Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Felton starred in the films as Draco Malfoy, Harry’s frequent rival and bully and a member of the Death Eaters for some time.

Though having debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times‘ nonfiction bestseller list, Tom Felton’s Harry Potter co-stars Jason Isaacs and Rupert Grint have an honest review for his memoir.

As shared by Felton on his Instagram and seen above, the image sees the Lucius Malfoy and Ron Weasley actors grimacing while reading a copy of memoir’s novel, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard. Felton, clearly amused by the joke photo, praised their responses as the “Best review yet“.

What Felton Has Done Since Harry Potter Ended

Though not retaining the same level of stardom as Radcliffe or Watson in the years since, Felton has gone on to enjoy a steady career following the end of the Harry Potter franchise in 2011. The Draco actor played similarly antagonistic roles in Rise of the Planet of the Apes the same year, the 2013 period drama Belle and the Chadwick Boseman-led Netflix thriller Message from the King.

The mid-2010s saw Felton turn his attention largely towards the small screen beginning with the 2013 miniseries Labyrinth, in which he starred alongside the likes of Sebastian Stan, Vanessa Kirby and John Hurt, and the TNT crime drama Murder in the First. One of his more notable turns was in The Flash season 3, starring as Barry Allen’s CCPD forensic scientist rival Julian Desmond revealed to be one of the season’s main villains Doctor Alchemy, though would be redeemed by the end of the season as he worked with Team Flash to bring down Savitar.

More recently, Felton has scored rave reviews for his performances in the 2018 historical romantic drama Ophelia and the sci-fi series Origin the same year, before returning to film with the 2020 family horror movie A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting, playing villain The Boogeyman. In addition to his memoir, Felton frequently makes appearances at Harry Potter conventions and even appeared on the HBO Max reunion special alongside Radcliffe, Watson and Grint, among others.
