Warning: this article contains spoilers for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania!Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has one Easter egg in its title that is just being found out by Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s recent release makes it the thirty-first movie in the MCU. The film continues the adventures of the Ant-Man family, led by a charismatic performance from Paul Rudd. Along with the mysteries brought by new villain Kang, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania holds a hidden meaning in its title, which Marvel fans are finding out.

Twitter user Joseph Stanichar was one of the several who just discovered that the title Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania contains “Ant-Man” in “Quantumania”.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s title meaning is both fun and fitting. The movie sets up the future of the MCU, and as such, is very important to the Multiverse Saga as a whole. While the inclusion of its lead character’s name in “Quantumania” might have played a role in that specific wording, the full title for the movie perfectly represents what the latest MCU entry is all about.

Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror is a formidable and terrifying foe for Ant-Man and the rest of the family from the very first moment the character is onscreen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The movie perfectly reveals why Kang is a menace to the MCU, with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s multiverse connection setting up the next chapter of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga. However, the Ant-Man trilogy finale is at its best not when setting up the future, but in having a blast with the present.

The Ant-Man movies are known for being funnier adventures than other heavier MCU entries, with lighter stakes and focus on the relationships between characters, such as Scott Lang reconnecting with his daughter, Cassie. While Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s introduction of Kang gives the movie the biggest stakes of the Rudd-led trilogy, the film still has plenty of time to delve into the fun exploration of the MCU’s Quantum Realm — as promised by its title.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has plenty of scenes that feature surreal backgrounds and characters who could only be native to the Quantum Realm. There are buildings who are alive, gelatinous beings and a wide assort of unique alien-like characters. The movie does a better job of keeping its title promise than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness did, with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania managing to present a fulfilling adventure though the Quantum Realm that boasts exciting new characters, interesting physics and breathtaking visuals. All in all, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania presents the audience with an exciting time in the Quantum Realm with Scott and company.
