Singer Marilyn Manson’s suit with Game of Thrones actor Esmé Bianco, who accused him of sexual assault and domestic violence, reaches a deal.

Marilyn Manson has settled his sexual assault lawsuit with Game of Thrones star Esmé Bianco. Manson is a singer and actor best known for his heavy makeup and confrontational stage persona, exemplified by his stage name, which combines Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. Bianco is one of four women to have filed civil lawsuits against the performer. This particular suit, filed in April 2021, includes allegations of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and fraudulent offers of roles in music videos and other projects.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Manson and Bianco’s suit has reached a deal “in principle to resolve.” Bianco’s lawyer Jay Ellwanger said this move was made “in order to move on with her life and career.” The actor, who will appear in the upcoming film Hypnotized opposite Vinnie Jones and Daniel Franzese, has “agreed to resolve her claims,” according to Manson’s lawyer Howard King.

Marilyn Manson Is Still Facing Multiple Other Accusations

Although Bianco’s claims may have been resolved, Manson is still in the middle of several similar lawsuits from multiple other women. He is still facing allegations of rape and sexual assault from at least three other women, including his ex-girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline and his ex-fiancée, Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood. Wood initially shared an Instagram post on February 1, 2021, making allegations against the singer that included abuse and anti-Semitism, timed with posts from four other women with similar allegations, leading to these lawsuits being filed.

Manson denied these claims and sued Wood and Ashley “Illma” Gore for defamation. The singer has been dropped by his record label Loma Vista and his agency, CAA. He was also removed from his final appearance as Johan Wengren on the Starz Neil Gaiman adaptation of American Gods and a planned guest role on the Shudder anthology series based on the George A. Romero film Creepshow.

These continuing suits against Marilyn Manson will likely take quite some time to conclude, especially considering how many cases are running simultaneously. It will also take some time to curate a complete file of evidence in the investigation of the allegations, as California district attorney George Gascón found the LACSD’s file to be “partial” after an investigation that already took 19 months. Although Bianco’s deal was made to focus on her career, participating in these suits does not seem to have affected the career of Wood, who most recently played Madonna in the 2022 Weird Al biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
