What happened to K.J. Osborn? Vikings WR heroically saves man’s life from burning car

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn was a literal hero on Sunday night as he saved a man’s life out of a burning car with three other people, as he posted on his Twitter account.

The wide receiver spotted a car on the side of the road and stopped to help. The man who had his life saved found himself in a single-car accident. The wide receiver rushed to help with three other people and was able to preserve a life – his Twitter post highlighted the three other people who helped him.

Osborn also posted a brief statement on his Twitter account about the situation:

“Most of the time the saying goes “wrong place wrong time. But this time I believe God had me, us, at the right place at the exact right time. Last night myself and these 3 absolute hero’s helped save a mans life by rescuing him from a vehicle up in flames after a bad crash. A situation I’d never imagine being apart of in a million years. I’ll leave you with this. God is real. And His LOVE is real. He will send his angels to be camped around you and provide you with his grace and mercy.”

Osborn remains a consistent target for the Minnesota Vikings

The wide receiver has enjoyed two good years after not seeing the ball much in his rookie season, taking over a huge share of the snaps with Adam Thielen struggling to keep the same level, although Justin Jefferson remains the clear-cut target.

He will be a free agent following the 2023 season. His two previous years finished with 655 and 650 receiving yards. He also had 12 touchdowns in the previous two seasons, which is an impressive mark when you’re playing in an offense that has Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson.

There are rumors pointing to Adam Thielen being cut before free agency opens, which would give Osborn a bigger share of the Vikings’ targets. A huge hero off the field, he will have the opportunity to cement his future with the Vikings in his contract year.
